A smart way to invest
MSF can help you prepare for the future. Whether you are planning for a first home or putting aside money for retirement, it is easy to build a substantial sum with our proven investment Funds.
Longevity
Our Scheme has been in existence for over 41 years. We still have long term investors actively contributing to their investment savings with us.
Investment experience and stability
Combined, the directors have over 80 year's investment experience between them. One founding MSF board member remains on the board. We have a stable board of directors.
Low cost model
- Low overheads.
- No management fees.
- No entry or exit fees.
- Low profile office.
- Small qualified, dedicated team who look after contributors interests.
No debt
We invest for the long term and it has been our practice to do this without resorting to debt financing.
Tax efficiency
Both MSF – The Property Fund, and SMF – The Equity Fund are Portfolio Investment Entities (PIE's). As a registered PIE, investors are taxed at their own personal investment rate and the tax associated with your investments in the Scheme is then paid on your behalf to the IRD.
Returns distributed at the end of the financial year are tax paid returns.
The new PIE tax rates effective 1/10/2010 are:
